Supranite Packing 243 BF AS

Evolution of Supranite Packing 242 CP AS. Used as anti-extrusion top and bottom rings for valve stem sealing set. Developed and qualified to reduce friction on valve stems. PMUC n°17-0388.

SUPRANITE ® PACKING 243 BF AS is approved by EDF PMUC (Products and Materials Usable in Power Stations) N°17-0388 and used as top and bottom rings for valve stem sealing set in order to reduce friction against valve stems.
Made of SUPRANITE ® NGN 03 AS expanded graphite, SUPRANITE ® PACKING 243 BF AS limits corrosion thanks to very low sulphur and halogens contents.
After precompression, the small thickness of the SUPRANITE ® PACKING 243 BF AS rings allows a larger effective seal height and limits friction.
