Supranite Packing 545
Supranite Packing 545

Supranite Packing 545

Made entirely of thin graphite filaments having a High Specific Modulus and high mechanical properties, coated with a thin film of PTFE to facilitate fitting and running in. Increases packing-box life in most applications.
  • The specific purity of the graphite filaments of which SUPRANITE ® PACKING 545 is made preserves the mechanical properties of the braided packing when it is exposed to large elevations of temperature, especially in the case of very high friction (extreme speed, over-tightening, etc.) or a lack of lubrication.
  • The chemical compatibility of SUPRANITE ® PACKING 545 is greater than that of conventional graphite and carbon braided packing.
  • Each filament of SUPRANITE ® PACKING 545 is coated with a very thin PTFE film to optimize running in and limit premature wear of the braided packing thanks to a low coefficient of friction.
  • SUPRANITE ® PACKING 545 increases packing-box life in most applications.
